A little bit about me....

I completed my CIDESCO Beauty Therapy Diploma in 2010 at the International School of Beauty Therapy in Nantwich, Cheshire.
 

This was a fantastic opportunity – I completed ITEC and CIBTAC qualifications as well as the internationally recognised CIDESCO Diploma. A years’ intense course starting with the foundations of practical and theory of beauty therapy, leading to more advanced treatments such as Facial Electrics and Electrolysis.

During that year, I also undertook body therapy – Swedish massage, Indian Head Massage and Body Electrics. This has enabled me to train in Microcurrent treatments such as CACI, Skinbase Microdermabrasion and Collagen Lift - a treatment that uses Radio Frequency to lift and tone facial and body skin. My most recent addition to the salon is Skinbase IPL Hair Reduction system. This is a method of permanent hair reduction and can also be used for skin therapies such reducing acne, thread veins and for amazing skin rejuvenation results.

My training has also led me into Holistic therapy, to complete ITEC Reflexology and Aromatherapy, which I know can help so many people relax and take away the stresses of life.

I have been self employed in Beauty over the last 10 years, interspersed with employment – I have trained with Clarins in London to work in their skincare and makeup departments and completed PTTLS and the VTCT Assessors Award to teach Beauty Therapy. I have also completed short courses to keep up with CPD.

It was more recently that I wanted to expand my skills and trained in Aesthetics to increase my knowledge further. This has enabled me to gain valuable experience and am able to provide advanced treatments such as Anti Wrinkle injections and Dermal Fillers. I also offer IPL Permanent Hair Removal, Semi-Permanent Make-up and Advanced Electrolysis – all of which are registered and licensed with Cheshire West & Chester Environmental Health Services. I take your health and well being seriously and ensure that you are suitable for the treatment and give the appropriate aftercare to make sure you benefit properly.

I am also a trainer for Skinbase. I travel to other salons around the country to educate and train therapists to use their own Skinbase equipment - IPL, Collagen Lift and Microdermabrasion.

I really enjoy meeting new people, finding out about them, helping them feel more confident and able to achieve what they want.
